“Silence Shattered: DJ Unlocked Calls Out Exploitation in Zimbabwean Gospel Choirs”

A House of Cards: Gospel DJ Unlocked Vows to Expose Predators in Zimbabwean Choirs

DJ Unlocked has ignited a digital reckoning in Zimbabwe’s gospel music scene, warning of exploitation and predatory behaviour hiding behind the altar.

The Warning Shot

On January 22, 2026, DJ Unlocked broke the silence of Zimbabwe’s gospel community, issuing a chilling warning to parents about alleged "atrocities" committed under the guise of ministry, including manipulation and exploitation during auditions.

"My heart bleeds for the victims," she posted, suggesting that some ministries are being used as hiding places for predators.

The Dossier of Shame

Since opening her inbox to anonymous survivors on January 25, DJ Unlocked claims she has received testimonies "worse than anyone could have imagined," detailing spiritual blackmail and coercion of young vocalists.

Though the accounts are harrowing, she has not yet named any individuals, leaving the public in suspense.

A Community Under Suspicion

With no names disclosed, every major choir—from inter-denominational stadium groups to high-profile church ensembles—is now under scrutiny. Social media buzz is filled with theories, as fans dissect resumption dates and lineup changes for clues of misconduct.

The "Untouchables"

On January 26, DJ Unlocked revealed that some accused individuals are "high-profile gospel giants" considered untouchable by the public.

"The fear of man is a snare," she wrote. "I will not be silenced by those who want to protect their brands at the expense of our children’s souls."

The Looming Exposure

As more survivors come forward, pressure is building for DJ Unlocked to release names. The public is divided between demanding transparency and fearing permanent damage to the church’s image in Zimbabwe.

For now, the gospel industry holds its breath. The microphones are off, stage lights dimmed, and everyone waits to see whose name falls first from the "Dossier of Shame."
