One of the first things that became clear through the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) was that marketing is not simply about selling products. At its core, it is about understanding people.

Listening to marketers from sectors like banking, telecommunications, and retail helped me realise that successful communication begins with empathy. Every brand message must consider the needs, expectations, and emotions of the people it hopes to reach.

Careers rarely grow in isolation. Interacting with respected leaders from different corporate sectors across Zimbabwe gave me a broader understanding of how business operates.
